Trimming changes when a clip starts and ends; cropping changes what the frame shows. This tool does both locally — it plays the section you keep, redraws each frame into your chosen crop on a canvas, and records the result with sound. Because it renders in real time, a kept section plays through once as it exports.

Pick the right shape

Use 1:1 for feed squares, 4:5 for tall feed posts, 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Stories, Reels and TikTok. Cropping trims the edges — it never stretches or distorts the picture.
