Enter the page you want to send people to.
Use a preset or type source, medium and campaign. Naming is cleaned up for you.
Copy the link, save it to your list, export a CSV or turn it into a QR code.
Lowercase and separators are applied automatically, so the same channel is not split into many rows in analytics.
One click fills source and medium for Instagram, TikTok, newsletters, ads and more.
Keep the links you made and download them as CSV.
Send a tracked link straight to the QR code generator.
UTM tags are short parameters added to a link — utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign, plus optional id, term and content. When someone clicks the link, your analytics tool reads them and records where the visit came from. Without them, traffic from social bios and newsletters often shows up as “direct”.
Source is the specific place: instagram, newsletter, a partner name. Medium is the type of channel: social, email, cpc, referral. Campaign is the promotion or launch the link belongs to. Use Content to tell two links in the same post or email apart.
Analytics tools treat “Instagram”, “instagram” and “ig” as three different sources. Pick a naming scheme, use lowercase, avoid spaces and write it down. The lowercase and separator options here apply that for you, and the saved list helps you reuse the same values.
Do not put UTM tags on links inside your own site — they overwrite the real source of the visit. Use them on links that bring people from outside: social bios, posts, emails, ads, QR codes and partner pages.
Tagged links are long. For printed material, send the link to the QR generator; for posts, use a link shortener you trust, since the tags stay intact. Never put personal data such as email addresses in UTM values.
